Trevin is walking so good! After a couple of awkward weeks balancing, he now looks like other kids when he walks. To make up for lost time, he constantly wanders; we have a kiddie leash that we use when we go outside. He loves to roam. I was sad to hear that he is getting a new physical therapist. Stacy, his current one, has been wonderful. We are so grateful for her help in getting him to walk. Our family is also trying to teach Trevin sign language to try to encourage him to talk more. It's fun to see him be able to progress.
Natalie seems to have turned from a little girl into a young lady over night. She is still loving to play the violin, read, and has many talents. She will get to go to girls camp this month and is thrilled. Like all our kids, she is loving our new yard and playing in the dirt.
Our Rachel has determination and never runs out of questions to ask her dad and I. She voluntarily practices the piano a couple of times a day. She also loves to read, jump on the trampoline and ride her bike. She has figured out that if she does her chores the first time she is asked, she will have a happy mom and be able to have more free time.
Alyssa is a cowgirl. Some neighbors gave her a pair of hot pink boots that she wears everywhere, even church. She dances around so much that I wonder if she can even walk. She is constantly dancing and giggling. She can't wait until kindergarten starts! (And even though her face is constantly covered in food or dirt, she is happy.)
Summer has been good for us. It's been a long time since we've gone over a month without having to take the kids to doctor appointments. Sadie hasn't gone this long without getting sick since before her transplant. Trevin... I hate knowing that it's only a matter of time before his health declines. It's pretty emotional for me to deal with. We try to stay positive, and he is such a cute, loving little boy. He is like a ray of sunshine for our family. David and I love these kids so much! We are grateful that families can be eternal.
Sadie, after over a year of not being able to go into a swimming pool, she is loving life! (As long as she doesn't have to put her head in the water...)
This isn't the best picture, but can you see the sand? He loves playing in the dirt! Last night he threw sand out of the playhouse while his cousin Brick threw it in. Toss it, say bubbye and get more sand to throw at each other-- happy little boys.

We live a block from the fireworks. I LOVE staying home & seeing the show (and having family come).
Alyssa lost her first tooth at age 5, here she is having fun at the 4th of July fireworks .
David carried Trevin and even Alyssa during the steep parts on our hike to Red Rock on the Menan Buttes.
Kim, Sadie, Alyssa, Rachel & Natalie on top of the North Menan Butte-- almost all of us have a healthy fear of heights, but we made it!
